Welcoming new puppies into this world and caring for them up to 8 weeks of life. Includes all necessary services associated such as deworming, feeding, etc. 

This method is similar to natural breeding, In that the stud and the dam are both present, but the semen is instead collected and inseminated into the female by us using an insemination rod. Ovulation timing is important with this method, as the success rate is much higher when the dam has correct progesterone levels during heat.If you need some advice on ovulation timing, feel free to get in touch with us here.

Similar to an artificial insemination, a transcervical insemination use a rod with a camera on the front. We are able to visualize on the screen the vaginal canal and the canine cervix. We then pass a catheter through the rod and through the cervix, depositing the semen in the uterine horns of the dam.

Progesterone testing is important to know when your dam is ovulating and prime for artificial insemination. Joyful Frenchies is able to perform progesterone testing on most dams. We perform a blood draw if the dam is cooperative, then run the sample through our centrifuge and then perform the test.

We are able to perform the seamen collection on your own stud and perform the artificial insemination on your own dam. We are experienced and can assist you to bring your Frenchie Puppies into this world. Progesterone testing and documentation must be provided prior to this service. If progesterone testing has not been performed please see above

We are able to analyze your studs semen using the iSperm MCasa system. The system will analyze the sperm and give the total count in millions/mL and the motility. 

We can send chilled semen to anywhere in the US or Canada. We can ship to your veterinarian or to your home. Shipping is done by FEDEX and will be overnight. We are also able to do same day shipping and delivery depending on your location, please inquire about this option. This is in addition to stud fee.

Ultrasound is the primary method in confirming canine pregnancy. We place a wand on your dams belly and are able to visualize the presence of gestational sacs. If they are seen, this confirms pregnancy. 

We use Fi Nano Microchips that are ISO chips and are in accordance with today's standards of microchipping. Fi offer lifetime free access to update your info when you move or change numbers, or have to rehome your furry friend. 

Type of dewormer is dependent on age of the pup. During first 4 weeks of life we use Pyrantel Pamoate, then switch to Safeguard Fenbendazole

We use Canine Spectra Brand Vaccines that are kept in our breeding cold storage. 

All Vaccines are combination vaccinations, this means multiple vaccines in one syringe. Which combination to use is determined by age of the pup. All vaccines, with the exception of Bordetella, are injected. Bordetella is introduced intranasally. 

Joyful Frenchies cannot administer Rabies vaccinations under the Commonwealth of Virginia Law. The Rabies vaccination can only be administered by a Veterinarian.
